Buy in The New Forest

The New Forest is an extremely popular countryside location, attracting mainly families or older couples.


The park is on the South East of England which includes one of the largest pasture lands and forest in the South East. It covers Hampshire, Wiltshire and parts of Dorset. There are many picturesque villages dotted around, meaning lots of tourists interests.

Residential Area

The area benefits from endless amounts of vast, detached, character housing with acres and acres of land as well as beautiful views across the forest.  As well as this, there are plenty of small villages which have a range of housing including character terraced buildings.  There is also the benefit of some modern housing estates attracting young families.


Shopping opportunities vary from independent shops selling items such as arts & crafts and even the occasional souvenir shops.  It is also benefits from shops selling local produce.  In New Milton, the village benefits from a Bradbeers, selling all sorts of home furnishings.  Most villages also offer convenience stores and the odd supermarkets.


Nightlife in The New Forest is reasonably limited. However, the New Forest does offer plenty of pubs with stunning pub gardens and great character. Popular pubs include The Bell Inn, The Buck Inn and The Balmer Lawn Hotel.

Local Schools

The New Forest offers plenty of schools, mainly independent, small schools such as The New Forest Small School, Moyles Court School, Hale Primary School, Beaulieu Village Primary School.  As well as this The New Forest also benefits from a college in Brockenhurst, which is very popular.


The train stations in The New Forest are Ashurst, Beaulieu Road, Brockenhurst and Sway.  As well as New Milton and Totton.  There is also a public bus network, served by Bluestar and Wilts & Dorset.
